Thunder center Steven Adams out (concussion) against Knicks

NEW YORK – Thunder center Steven Adams will miss Saturday’s game against the New York Knicks, as he’s been placed into the NBA’s concussion protocol.

Adams played 50 minutes on Friday in the Thunder’s 119-117 triple-overtime win against Philadelphia, fouling out in the third overtime with five points, 11 rebounds and two assists. Following the game, Adams did not speak with the media and sat at his locker without speaking for an extended period of time.

According to a release from the Thunder, Adams sustained the concussion with 32 seconds left in the first overtime period.
