Thunder can't find an answer to stop Leonard, OKC loses 109-94

Thunder guard Terrance Ferguson shuffled back and forth, meeting Kawhi Leonard at every turn. Poking and prodding hadn’t opened a lane, so instead, Leonard leaned backward. And his fadeaway mid-range jump shot flew true.

That didn’t bode well for the Thunder in what would become a 109-94 loss to the Clippers on Tuesday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

The Thunder had battled the Clippers close in two previous games, but L.A. didn’t have Leonard then. On Tuesday, Leonard recorded 25 points and eight rebounds in his first game against the Thunder of the season. For the second straight game, the Thunder suffered a blowout loss.
