Thunder: Amidst shooting struggles, Dennis Schroder has turnaround fourth quarter

The shot ricocheted off the backboard, hit Thunder center Steven Adams’s hands and bounced off the ground. OKC guard Dennis Schroder snatched it with a fraction of a second left on the clock.

With that, the Thunder sealed its win. Adams shook Schroder by the shoulders in celebration.

Schroder said after the Thunder’s 99-95 win over the Grizzlies that he didn’t realize his 12th rebound of the night was a career high.

“Whatever it took,” Schroder said. “Everybody was doing it. So for me, just being aggressive and just trying to get some rebounds to help Steve-O was pretty important.
