Thunder: Abdel Nader displays consistency in increased role

Thunder guard Abdel Nader rolled a cough drop around in his mouth as he answered questions after OKC’s loss at Sacramento Wednesday. But even a little under the weather, Nader was playing some of the most consistent basketball of his NBA career.

Nader enters the Thunder’s game against the Nuggets Saturday leading the team in 3-point percentage (46.7). He could make his fifth consecutive start Saturday, with Terrance Ferguson (right hip soreness) and Hamidou Diallo (right elbow hyperextension sprain) still sidelined by injury.

For the first time in his career, Nader has started multiple games in a season.
