The importance of Nerlens Noel to the OKC Thunder

OKC Thunder reserve center Nerlens Noel, taken with pick No.6 in the 2013 draft by the then New Orleans Hornets, was then traded less than a month later to the Philadelphia 76ers. He would play 171 games where he averaged 10.2 points and 7.6 rebounds.

Due to a plethora of young, talented big men, the 76ers decided to trade Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel. At this time the 76ers, mistakenly, in my opinion, chose to trade Noel first. He was traded to the Dallas Mavericks where he would play 52 games in two and a half injury plagued seasons.
