Steven Adams leads Thunder's 110-83 rout of Pistons to start three-game road trip

DETROIT — As soon as the Pistons scored one of their few first quarter buckets, the Thunder was up the floor. In sync, Russell Westbrook and Steven Adams weren't even over half court and both gave a hard wave for Terrance Ferguson to vacate the right corner.

Within minutes, Adams and Westbrook recognized the Pistons were dropping their big men back in pick-and-roll coverage. Adams set a screen for Paul George, who slipped a bounce pass in between two Pistons defenders to hit Adams for a smooth floater.

“They were in a really far drop, (Andre) Drummond and Blake (Griffin) as well,” Adams said after the Thunder's 110-83 blowout of the Pistons.
