Corey Brewer and Josh Huestis, who were part of the Thunder’s 2017-18 team, remain free agents, and with the Thunder roster at its maximum 15, Brewer and Huestis will be moving on.
But reaching mid-August without a roster spot is not all that unusual. All kinds of NBA veterans remain unsigned about five weeks before training camps open. Here’s a list of some of the players available:
1. Rodney Hood: He’s a good shooter, and still only 26, but his star is declining. Hood is a restricted free agent, but contract talks with the Cleveland Cavaliers have stalled.
