Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook totaled 57 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists in Wednesday's 114-106 comeback victory over the Orlando Magic.
His scoring output was the highest in NBA history for a player while recording a triple-double, per the Elias Sports Bureau (via ESPN Stats & Info). James Harden and Wilt Chamberlain previously claimed the record, totaling 53 points in their respective tilts.
In addition to notching the scoring record, Westbrook also rallied the club from a 21-point deficit in the second half of the contest to win, marking his 38th triple-double of his campaign.
