After taking two blows to the head in a fall Tuesday night, Nerlens Noel has been diagnosed with a concussion, and tests ruled out any fractures, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
Noel was carried off the court on a stretcher in the third quarter of the Thunder’s 119-117 loss to Minnesota at Chesapeake Energy Arena Tuesday night.
While attempting to block the Thimberwolves’ Andrew Wiggins, Noel received an inadvertent elbow to the head. He fell and hit his head on the ground. Thunder athletic trainers and players called for serious medical attention and a stretcher almost immediately.
