LiAngelo Ball, who has practiced with the Oklahoma City Blue since mid December, is soon expected to sign a G League contract, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Ball joined the Blue as a practice player shortly after the G League Winter Showcase. It's not known if the Blue is the G League team that Ball is expected to sign with. Ball is not officially a member of the Blue. It's routine for G League teams to bring on practice players.
LiAngelo is the middle brother of Lonzo and LaMelo Ball.
Lonzo Ball, the second overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, is averaging 11.
