Recapping Russell Westbrook’s Asia Tour

Just because the OKC Thunder are one of the smallest markets in the NBA, doesn’t mean Russell Westbrook’s influence stops at the state’s borders or even the nation’s coasts.

Westbrook’s third annual Why Not? Tour concluded its seven-day trip through Asia, which included stops in Shanghai, Beijing and Tokyo. During his time there, Westbrook played games, judged a dunk contest, went to an art exhibition and met with some of the top clothing designers in the world.

“For me, the most important part of the tour is getting to the fans,” Westbrook said during a press conference in Beijing.
