Q&A: Former Jazz big man Thurl Bailey loves the Adams-Gobert matchup

Following a 13-year NBA career which also included a four-year stint overseas playing in Greece and Italy, Thurl Bailey went into broadcasting. Eighteen years later, he's still the pregame, halftime and postgame analyst for the Jazz.

He's still just as well known for being a key cog on the 1983 NCAA champion N.C. State team that upset Houston. But now, the 6-foot-11 Bailey, who's still in great shape at 57, has more to be proud of. His son is going to play at Marquette in the fall. Bailey does basketball clinics in Italy and basketball commercials with the Jazz's mascot.
