DOHA, Qatar -- Christian Pulisic has been cleared to play in the United States men's national team's World Cup round-of-16 match against the Netherlands on Saturday, US Soccer has confirmed.
Pulisic has been suffering from a pelvic contusion he got as he scored the only goal of the game in the 1-0 defeat of Iran.

The US midfielder finished the half but eventually had to be substituted.
The confirmation Friday by the US federation comes after manager Gregg Berhalter said earlier in the day that the Chelsea star was on track to recover in time for the crucial matchup.
