Thinking back in time to when the OKC Thunder (at the time the Seattle SuperSonics) drafted Kevin Durant is about as close to how I imagine New Orleans Pelicans fans are feeling. And, while Zion Williamson was expected to end up playing for the Knicks, Suns, Cavaliers, Hawks or another lottery pick with greater odds it was the New Orleans Pelicans who won the Zion Sweepstakes.
In a draft class which is about as thin as last years was teeming with talent, there is one undeniable fact which is Zion Williamson stood head and shoulders above all his peers.
