The early growing pains of the 2017-18 continue as the OKC Thunder were ousted on a last second buzzer beater by Minnesota star Andrew Wiggins. Oklahoma City Thunder fans were cheering for a brief second when Carmelo Anthony hit what seemed to be the game winning 3 with 4 seconds remaining.
Out of timeouts, Minnesota inbounded the ball to Wiggins who magically had loads of space to go down court. From 40 feet out, Wiggins hit the banker to win the game. While there will be some talking points regarding the Karl Anthony-Towns moving screen which cleared the way for Wiggins to get the shot off, the shot was clean.
