As a game series, NBA 2K has been going for years.
It is well established in the basketball video game sector. There is only one rival to 2K in the form of NBA Live. NBA Live’s patchy releases have meant that 2K has dominated the market over the last five or six years.
That dominance has translated into record sales for 2K Sports and Take-Two Interactive, but the game itself has not improved much over the last few years. There are issues and bugs in the gameplay that have existed over the previous two releases. It is frustrating for fans who spend $60 on the game every single year to receive a product that has been built with very little care.
