OKC Thunder waives Admiral Schofield and TJ Leaf

The Thunder waived forwards Admiral Schofield and TJ Leaf on Friday night after the team's final preseason game.

Leaf played six minutes in the 105-103 loss to the Bulls. Schofield did not play Friday, but he appeared in the Thunder's first two preseason games.

The Thunder's roster now stands at 16 players, plus Moses Brown and Josh Hall on two-way contracts. Teams can have a maximum of 15 players signed to standard contracts, which leaves general manager Sam Presti with one more move to make by the start of the regular season.

The Thunder acquired Leaf and a 2027 second-round pick from the Pacers last month in exchange for guard Jalen Lecque.
