This OKC Thunder team continues to surprise as this season moves along. The much-anticipated return of Paul George to the Chesapeake Energy arena turned into a barn-burner of a basketball game. The Clippers are one of the premier teams in the Western Conference, so this win tonight feels pretty significant in the eyes of the Thunder.
George and the Clippers had it going on early and often as they jumped out to a very large lead in the first quarter and throughout the first half. The depth and talent of LA were apparent as the late-scratch of Danilo Gallinari stymied the Thunder offense for most of the half.
