OKC Thunder signs Devon Hall as substitute player

The Thunder has signed Devon Hall as a substitute player for the season restart, general manager Sam Presti announced Saturday.

It will be Hall's second stint with the team this season. Hall signed a two-way contract with the Thunder last September. He appeared in five games before being waived Dec. 12.

Hall is essentially the substitute player for Luguentz Dort, who was formerly on a two-way contract before signing a standard NBA contract Wednesday.

Two-way substitute players, like Hall, will become unrestricted free agents at the end of the season.

Hall, a 6-foot-5 guard, was picked by the Thunder in the second round of the 2018 draft after a four-year career at Virginia.
