OKC Thunder: Mid-range shots valuable from Chris Paul, Dennis Schroder & SGA

The truth is, this Thunder team is not great on offense -- 17th in offensive efficiency, going into Friday games. But it scraps. It has three drivers, leading to a lot of foul shots (17.7 percent of its points, third in the league). Led by Gallinari, the Thunder makes some 3-pointers. And by game’s end, the defense is wary enough of the drivers to leave the middle open, from the 15-19 foot range, OKC’s Mid-first philosophy takes over to help drive a surprisingly delightful season.
