Kevin Hervey is aware of his role on the Thunder roster. The rookie forward appeared in just seven games this season, and he's likely to remain on the end of the bench when the season resumes Aug. 1.
But that doesn't mean Hervey isn't helping his team prepare.
"As far as what I can contribute to the team? Anything I can," Hervey said. "Guys need shoes, guys need water, guys need somebody to play one-on-one against, somebody to practice a move against ... it doesn't matter. Whatever I can contribute I will."
The Thunder selected Hervey with the 57th pick in the 2018 draft.
