On the opening day of the DeadCenter Film Festival, the motion picture Jump Shot kicked off the event. The premiere was held at the Oklahoma Museum of Art. OKC Thunder forward Patrick Patterson participated in the screening of Jump Shot by interviewing the director and cinematographer Jacob Hamilton.
The movie won the first of award of the 2019 festival, earning the nod for best documentary. During the 2018 DeadCenter Festival, 12 awards were handed out.
