OKC Thunder deliver 110-83 rout in Detroit, 3 key takeaways from victory

Monday night’s win against the Detroit Pistons was one of the biggest of the year for OKC Thunder. They were up from the start, closing out the first quarter up 26-17 and just never looked back. The Thunder spent most of the game from that point building upon that lead, at one point leading by an obscene 35 points and generally appearing to be in a completely different universe than the Pistons.

Even though the margin by which they won was admittedly huge, the Pistons aren’t a joke this year. They were one of the hotter teams in the league coming into tonight, winning five straight and distinguishing themselves from some of the forgotten teams in the East.
