The OKC Thunder hit Sacramento for their third game of the current four-game road trip and came just short of pulling out a fourth consecutive win.
It was the third game in four nights for the Thunder as it also was for the Kings. Both teams entered the match having defeated teams on the road in back to back sets in games neither squad was expected to win.
There were a few hints this match might fall to the wayside given old habits rearing their ugly heads. In recent outings, the Thunder had erased those poor opening and third quarters but on Wednesday they reverted back and lost both.
