Seeking a back up power forward, the OKC Thunder 30 for 30 travel to Phoenix to evaluate Croatian Dragan Bender. The 20 year-old enters his third season on the back of a lackluster sophomore year where he averaged 6.5 points and 4.4 rebounds in 25 minutes per game while shooting 38.5 percent from the field and 36.6 percent from three.
Bender’s time in the NBA has been anything but impressive. Blessed with a 7’1 frame and sweet shooting stroke from range, the Croatian has yet to find his footing in the pro’s. Entering the league, Bender represented the new prototypical stretch big capable of playing the four and the five.
