The OKC Thunder are officially slumping, coming out of the annual All-Star break. They have lost three-of-four contests, including a significant loss courtesy of the Embiid and Boban-less Sixers. Yes, the Thunder were without their All-Star starter and MVP candidate Paul George, but the Sixers were missing their own All-Star in Joel Embiid and his backup Boban Marjanovic.
George missing the contest was troubling. The All-Star forward has struggled in his last two games going 11-43, 25.6 percent from the floor and 5-23, 21.7 percent from the perimeter. During the TNT broadcast on Thursday night, sideline reporter Kristen Ledlow reported PG was suffering from a strained rotator cuff.
