This is pretty wild. Nike has four jerseys planned for every NBA team this season; The Association and Icon were released in late July while The Athlete’s mindset and The Community are still unknown. Well maybe not anymore.
Leaks from the upcoming NBA 2K18 shows a “Statement” jersey:
The name is different, but it’s likely that this is in fact one of the two alternate jerseys. My guess is that it’s The Athlete’s Mindset one for a couple reasons.
- This jersey doesn’t really scream “Oklahoma City.” If Nike is making a community jersey it’s going to be a classic vibe, not something bold like this.
