Jan. 4, Thunder 111-109: The Thunder beat the Trail Blazers in Portland for the first time since 2014. OKC closed the third quarter on a 7-0 run to claim a 93-87 lead heading into the final period, and Paul George and Russell Westbrook each finished the game with more than 30 points.
Jan. 22, Thunder 123-114: In the first game on OKC turf, Portland never led by more than two points. Blazers guard Damian Lillard turned on the heroics in the fourth quarter to cut the Thunder’s advantage to three points, but consistent free-throw shooting by Westbrook and George put Portland away.
