The Spurs are trading Kawhi Leonard to Toronto, and the sun will come up tomorrow in San Antonio.
The San Antonio superstar has forced a trade for reasons unknown, and with Leonard having just one year left on his contract, and his camp making it known he wanted to be in Los Angeles, the Spurs were dealing from a position of weakness.
But the reported trade with the Raptors is a solid deal for San Antonio.
The Spurs send Leonard and Danny Green to Toronto, for DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl and a top-20 protected first round draft pick in 2019 that becomes two second-round picks in 2020 if it fails to convey.
