The NBA Finals could be halfway home – the Warriors lead two games to none, and though the series moves back to Cleveland for games 3 and 4, a path to victory isn’t apparent for the Cavaliers after Golden State’s 122-103 Game 2 rout Sunday.
Here’s what came to my mind watching Game 1:
* I kept thinking that LeBron James was playing poorly. I never really got off that idea. I kept feeling badly, thinking I was holding LeBron to an incredibly high standard.
I had no idea how high of a standard. This is LeBron’s stat line for Game 2: 29 points on 10-of-20 shooting, 2-of-4 3-point shooting, 7-of-9 foul shooting, 9 rebounds, 13 assists.
