Kevin Durant to miss Thunder-Warriors with ankle contusion

In the final matchup between the Thunder and Warriors this season, there will be no Kevin Durant.

The former Thunder forward will miss his second straight game with a right ankle contusion, as announced at Warriors shootaround Saturday in Oklahoma City. The Thunder and Warriors play Saturday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena, Golden State’s only appearance in Oklahoma City this season.

Durant injured his ankle late in a 115-111 loss to Phoenix on Sunday and didn’t play in the Warriors’ 106-104 win in Houston on Wednesday.

Durant’s injury means all three Thunder-Warriors meetings this season will have been missing All-Stars.
