Yukon — Rayo OKC forward Georgios Samaras made a trip to New York City last week to visit his friend Steve Nash, who was hosting a charity event.
Samaras, who is a big fan of the NBA and has attended more than a few Thunder games in his short time in Oklahoma City, met Kevin Durant at the event. Samaras said he wished Durant luck with his decision, you know, that whole free agency thing.
Back in Yukon and preparing for Rayo’s match with FC Edmonton on Saturday, Samaras said he understands the difficulty Durant is facing heading into free agency.
