Late last night, news broke that the Thunder were planning on signing Gabriel Deck to a contract. Deck, 26, currently plays for Real Madrid and the news certainly came out of the left field. Real Madrid, coached by Pablo Laso, are currently contending for the EuroLeague title and Deck is one of their key contributors. The news was initially broken by Chema de Lucas, a Spanish basketball reporter.
The report was then confirmed by Emiliano Carchia of Sportando and Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Gabriel Deck is expected to fly in the next hours to USA to join the Oklahoma City Thunder, I am told.
