Fan festivities planned for Thunder opening night

The Thunder's home opener Friday night against the Wizards will feature a halftime performance by Hinder. The Oklahoma rock band will perform its hit, "Lips of an Angel."

Enid native and Grammy Award-winning operatic soprano Leona Mitchell will sing the national anthem.

Jabee, an Oklahoma actor and hip-hop artist, will introduce the players in a pregame performance.

Thunder Alley, a pregame festival on Reno Avenue, will be open at 4 p.m. There will be inflatable games, photo opportunities, face painting and a rock-climbing wall.

The Thunder and Wizards will tip-off at 7 p.m.
