Jerami Grant grew into his role in Oklahoma City this season, and the 24-year-old has the look of a prototypical modern power forward. At 6-foot-9 he's athletic, versatile defensively and a respectable 3-point threat.
But Grant is a free agent, and re-signing him might not be so simple for the Thunder.
As it enters a summer of uncertainty, OKC's priority is convincing free agent Paul George to re-sign. If it can do that, the Thunder will be dramatically over the NBA salary cap, and any additional moves will carry significant tax penalties.
