Dennis Schroder becomes a second-half savior for the Thunder

Paul George had an amazing first quarter for the Thunder on Tuesday night in a 126-117 victory over the Orlando Magic. George got two fouls in the first 81 seconds of the game and motioned to Billy Donovan not to substitute, that George could handle the burden of being less aggressive.

Donovan acquiesced to George, and that decision paid off brilliantly: PG13 played 8:28 in the quarter, made five of seven shots, grabbed four rebounds and scored 14 points.

And then George played even more spectacularly in the second quarter – 12 minutes, 6-of-9 shooting, 17 points.
