Oklahoma City is resilient.
After all, we’ve been through a lot. From the bombing right in the heart of our city to the annual threat of fatal tornadoes, we’re no strangers to setbacks. We’ve rebuilt so many times. And each time, we’ve linked arms, lifted each other up, and become stronger.
Two years ago we were dealt a pretty big blow. And though the event pales in comparison to the storms that have destroyed the lives of our neighbors, it still hurt. I think you know what I’m talking about—after all, it’s basketball-related.
The team we had supported for so many years was suddenly fractured.
