Berry Tramel: Thunder living on the edge doesn't have to mean it can't survive in NBA playoffs

The Thunder beat Detroit 113-107 Wednesday night in a typical Thunder game. No matter the script, the game gets tight.

Steven Adams went to the line with four tenths of a second left in the third quarter, with three foul shots, which could have given OKC an 18-point lead. And when the fourth quarter started, the Thunder led by 12. Adams missed all three, and a review of Terrance Ferguson’s 3-pointer a few moments earlier found that it came after the shot-clock buzzer. So there went six points out the door, and soon enough, Detroit had momentum and even a lead.
