As misses mount, what's wrong with Paul George's shot since the All-Star break?

Paul George sat back, and out of nowhere he pounced.

The Thunder was clinging to a four-point lead late in last Friday's home game against the Miami Heat when George made a perfect read on a Miami inbound pass. He deflected it, tightroped the sideline to scoop up the loose ball, then dashed to the other end for a layup and foul.

The three-point play pushed Oklahoma City's lead to seven and effectively iced a win with 38 seconds to play.

“Tonight,” George said afterward, “it was the least I could do.”

It was pointed self-deprecation from the All-Star forward, a reference to his poor shooting against the Heat.
