After uneven first season, Ferguson hopes to be 'totally different player'

The catch was hard enough, the layup seemingly impossible.

Terrance Ferguson pulled off both in a March 16 Thunder win against the Clippers, corralling Raymond Felton's errant alley-oop pass in midair on right side of the rim, then flipping it in during his descent on the left.

It was the most head-turning highlight of Ferguson's rookie season in the NBA. And it's the sort of thing the Thunder needs more of as the 19-year-old moves forward.

“I just want to come back a totally different player,” Ferguson said after the season, and Oklahoma City would like for the rook's second-year look to include more attacking, more slashing and more spectacular finishes.
