After playoff layoff, Carmelo Anthony set for new postseason role in OKC

Carmelo Anthony remembers that first playoff game, the way the intensity ramped up and the players dialed in and how he tried to keep pace as a rookie in Denver.

“It's a different emotion that you play with, that you have,” Anthony said Friday. “You kind of put everything into perspective. I don't think you think about that right at that moment. I think it takes a while for you to kind of reflect back on those moments.”

His playoff debut was 14 years ago, and Anthony is a different player now as he prepares for his 67th postseason game.
