Kevin Durant Powers Thunder To 131-102 Win, 2-1 Series Lead Over Mavs

Just one game after Kevin Durant set a career high for missed shots in the playoff game, he responded with 34 points to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 131-102 win over the Dallas Mavericks.

OKC had an excellent night from the field as a team, shooting an outstanding 57.7 percent from the field - including 55.6 percent from three-point range. They shot just 34 percent in their Game 2 loss.

After a back and forth first quarter, Oklahoma City was able to build a 19-point lead thanks to an 18-5 run, but the Mavs managed to rebound and trailed just 58-48 at the break. However, the Thunder reeled off another 16-6 run in the third quarter to turn this into a blowout. Dallas never threatened from that point on.

Russell Westbrook also had a huge night for OKC, posting 26 points and 15 assists. Serge Ibaka contributed 16 points, while Enes Kanter provided a spark off the bench with 21 points and eight rebounds.

Wesley Matthews led all scorers on the Mavs with 22 points. Dirk Nowitzki had a big night as well, scoring 16 points with six rebounds and five assists.

Oklahoma City now leads the series 2-1. Game 4 in Dallas will be on Saturday at 8:00 pm ET on ESPN.
