WATCH: Highlights From Ohio State's 30-27 2OT Win Over Michigan

The 2016 edition of "The Game" was a thriller for the ages. No. 3 Michigan Wolverines and the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes went to overtime for the first time in history. The Buckeyes completed a 10-point comeback to win 30-27 in double OT.

Check out some of the highlights from "The Game" below.

It was a scoreless first quarter, although the Buckeyes had a chance to score. But they couldn't take advantage, as the normally reliable Tyler Durbin missed a field goal.

The Wolverines would get on the board first, as Kenny Allen nailed a short field goal.

Ohio State's defense stepped up to give the Buckeyes lead in the second quarter. Malik Hooker intercepted a tipped Wilton Speight pass and ran it back for a pick-six to give the Buckeyes a 7-3 lead.

But Michigan would rally just before the half. Khalid Hill punched it in from a yard out to give Michigan a 10-7 lead at the half.

Early in the second half, Jabrill Peppers picked off his first career pass to give Michigan great field position.

But the Wolverines failed to convert, as Speight fumbled the ball at the goal line and the Buckeyes recovered.

Ohio State would be forced to punt, but they tried a fake deep in their own territory. It didn't work, as Cameron Johnston was stopped short.

This time the Wolverines would convert, as Speight hit Hill for an 8-yard TD pass to make it 17-7.

But the Buckeyes wouldn't quite. Speight was picked off by Jerome Baker, giving OSU great field position.

After an offsides penalty and an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on head coach Jim Harbaugh, the Buckeyes made it 17-14 on a one-yard run from Mike Weber.

After missing another field goal, this time a very short one. Durbin got a another chance. With only seconds left, he hit the field goal to force the game into OT.

It took OSU just two plays in OT to score. J.T. Barrett kept it for a 7-yard score.

On 4th and five, Speight came up with one a clutch play. He hit WR Amara Darboh for a TD that forced double OT.

In 2OT, Michigan settled for a field goal. Following a gutsy 4th and 1 conversion by the Buckeyes, Curtis Samuel ran it in from 15 yards out to win the game for Ohio State.

With the win, the Buckeyes have put themselves in position to make the College Football Playoff. Michigan is eliminated with the loss.
