Fresh off a road win over Indiana in Week 1, Ohio State will welcome in-state opponent Youngstown State to Columbus for the Buckeyes' 2023 home opener inside "The House That Harley Built."
There have been two all-time matchups between Ohio State and Youngstown State, with those nonconference contests occurring in 2007 and 2008. The former was a 38-6 win for Ohio State behind a 225-yard, two-touchdown performance from Todd Boeckman, while the latter was a 43-0 shutout for the Buckeyes, as Chris "Beanie" Wells rushed for 111 yards and a score.
