What coaches are saying about Nick Bosa's early departure

Nick Bosa lay on the field at AT&T Stadium on Sept. 15, felled during an ordinary-looking pass rush against TCU.

The injury didn't appear to be overly serious. Even after Ohio State's win over TCU, as Bosa walked gingerly around the field in sweats and flip-flops, few pegged the Buckeyes' All-America candidate to be out for long. Turns out, Bosa would never suit up for the Scarlet and Gray again. This week, the junior defensive end, who underwent surgery Sept. 20 to repair a core muscle injury, announced that the next time he'll play a meaningful football game, it will be at AT&T Stadium or another NFL venue in 2019.
