He picked against Ohio State.
After co-star Mack Brown tabbed the Buckeyes to win — "Urban Meyer is 19-0 on the road. Who am I to go against that?" — May looked gleeful in anticipation for registering his pick that nobody but him saw coming.
"I'm going with the Badgers," May said. "They had the bye week. They're healthy. They got their legs. They're ready to go. Paul Chryst, I'm counting on you and the Badgers to get it done.
