Ohio State will be without its top running back against Maryland.
TreVeyon Henderson is one of nine players listed as out on Ohio State’s status report for its post-bye week game against the Terrapins. It is unclear why Henderson will be unavailable for Saturday’s contest, as he played 50 snaps in Ohio State’s most recent game against Notre Dame and his injury has not been disclosed.
With Henderson unavailable, Chip Trayanum is likely in line to make his first career start for the Buckeyes. Trayanum operated as Ohio State’s No. 2 running back for the first four games of the season and scored the game-winning touchdown with a 1-yard run on the Buckeyes’ final offensive play against Notre Dame.
