The Ohio State football program is the defending national champion, which took down two SEC teams en route to winning it all. Neither of those games was particularly close, either. Both of the games against Tennessee and Texas were won by double digits by the Buckeyes.
Despite the fact that the Buckeyes did that, they are still rated below Texas in both polls. Those two teams will face each other in the first game of the season, which will give us a good look at who might be the best team in the country very early on.
