The 2016 recruiting class hits double digits as four-star linebacker Borland commits

On Friday, head football coach Urban Meyer and his staff landed their 10th verbal commitment for the 2016 class when Tuf Borland pledged his allegiance to Buckeye Nation via his personal Twitter account.

Borland, a 6-foot-2, 225-pound outside linebacker from Bolingbrook High School in Bolingbrook, Ill., is a four-star prospect by three of the main recruiting services. Both 247Sports.com and Rivals.com has Borland listed as the No. 20 OLB in the nation, while Scout.com has him three pegs lower at No. 23.

Borland’s decision is to choose Ohio State was surprising. All 14 Crystal Ball predictions on 247Sports had him going to Wisconsin.
