On the first drive of the game for the Ohio State offense Saturday, Thayer Munford left the field to head to the medical tent.
Munford, the Buckeyes' starting left guard, was slow to get up after getting rolled up on during a run play, but remained in the game for the next couple downs. However, Munford eventually hobbled off to the sideline and went to the medical tent.
The fifth-year senior was injured early in the Buckeyes' Sept. 18 matchup with Tulsa, and missed the subsequent contest with Akron. Munford returned against Rutgers last week and started in his usual spot.
